Welcome to Alpacas-4-Pets
Concentration on Alpacas and recently on quality miniature horses as pets for the family has been our focus since we began. All alpacas are halter broke & lead. Our alpacas are quality boys with great fiber and are a wonderful way to find out if alpacas are a good choice for you. We can assist you in finding a particular color alpaca that you may desire for it's fiber. Alpacas-4-Pets also can assist you in finding llamas for both their fiber and guarding, so please contact us for information on alpacas and llamas that are available.
Recently we have been moving towards miniature horses as both pets or family pleasure driving horses. All our horses are handled daily, have all their veterinary care attended to and are trained on site for driving it they are suitable. Many are registered and can compete in breed shows and/or the many local fairs and shows. For children they can be shown in costume classes as well as halter and jumping and many 4H events. Visitors are welcome to come to the farm to learn more about llamas, alpacas and miniature horses. Please call ahead at 518-731-1956 to arrange a visit.
We have a variety of hand knitted scaves and wraps made from 100% alpaca fiber as well as felted purses and hats all made from our own alpacas. We also have raw fiber in many different colors as well as roving and 100% alpaca yarn for those who wish to knit or crochet.
